The 70th Anniversary of the United States Air Force (USAF) took palce in 2017, and the Royal International Air Tattoo was the chosen event in Europe where the USAF would show its power. A good number of aircraft were in the static display (MC-130J, CV-22, B-1B, C-17A, F-15C/E, F-16C, U-2, etc), but the real show was in the air. The USAF brought the Thunderbirds Demonstration Team (Flying 6 F-16C), the F-22 Raptor and the CV-22 Osprey and there was also a fly past that included 2 F-15C, 1 F-15E, 2 F-16C, 1 KC-135, 1 C-130j and the last day of the show a B-2A Spirit, which flew twice over the airfield of Fairford flanked by two F-15C. Here are the highlights!
