The DACT (Dissimilar Air Combat Training) Campaign is an international air combat exercise which take place annualy at Gando Air Base (Canary Islands). DACT is developed and coordinated by the Spanish Air Force Combat Comand. The main goal of this exercice is the advanced training of fighter pilots in air combat tactics by using mock up air combats with dissimilar fighter.
Participating aircraft included Eurofighter F-2000 from Italy, a NATO E-3 SENTRY, EF-18 Hornets (12th, 15th and 46th Wings), Eurofighter Typhoon (11th and 14th Wings), C-295 (35th Wing) and Super Puma and Persuader (802 Squadron).
